History
1984
CPC of Lenawee opened on March 12, 1984, at 153 N. Main St. in Adrian, Michigan under the direction of Karen & Denny – offering free services of pregnancy tests, counseling, basic needs for maternity and post-abortion recovery. CPC was one of four pregnancy centers in the state of Michigan in 1984.
2004
CPC of Lenawee’s building on Main St. was sold and the ministry moved to 1100 Sutton Rd. in Adrian, Michigan.
2009
CPC of Lenawee moved to 308 N. Broad St. in Adrian, Michigan, which has allowed for more walk-in clients as well as higher visibility and accessibility of the services that CPC offers.
2016
CPC of Lenawee kicked off a Building Campaign entitled give. build. grow. serve.
Upon completion of the campaign, CPC will commence the renovation and expansion of their current 2200 sq. ft. facility. With this increased space, CPC hopes to expand its services to better meet the needs of Lenawee County.
2020
Throughout the worldwide pandemic, CPC pivoted and thrived as we continued to provide essential services in our community.
CPC also purchased the purple home next door that will be repurposed as our Family Resource Center.
